Self-promotion

As an emerging graphic designer, I currently position myself in minimalist visual communication, aiming to enhance the clarity, structure, and strong logical thinking of my work. I aspire to work in branding and visual communication design, and a concise design style will effectively convey my complex ideas.

How can I promote myself now?

Currently, my self-promotion relies primarily on my portfolio, CV, and other social media platforms. My portfolio includes other academic projects, such as branding and poster design with a unique style. However, while my work showcases technical skills, it lacks narrative ability. My online presence on LinkedIn and Behance is still developing.

What can I use to promote it?

To improve my self-promotion strategy, I plan to take a more proactive approach. First, I will focus on including fewer but currently better-suited pieces in my portfolio, presenting them with clear narratives, highlighting the overall aesthetics, the issues addressed, the visuals, and the reflections. Second, I will cultivate a consistent online brand image. I will also share my design process, results, and insights on social media to increase engagement within the industry community.

My portfolio played a crucial role in this project because it not only showcased my design skills but also my ability to conceptualize and effectively communicate ideas. By presenting this project on multiple platforms and continuously updating the content, I aimed to strengthen my professional identity and stand out in the highly competitive design industry.
